TO STUDY FOR YOUR CHAPTER 1 TEST (REMEMBER TESTS ARE 50% OF YOUR GRADE) DO THE FOLLOWING:
- Tests will be timed and a mixture of multiple choice and free response. Using notes is allowed but your time will be limited so you MUST know vocabulary and concepts well enough to do most of it without looking up answers (in notes or on google).
-If you miss the test during your scheduled period, you will be assigned a "make-up" assessment
which will be all free response (no multiple choice). You will have 2 days to contact me and
set a time for test make-up.
-Live/Eat/Breathe your vocabulary: Study QUIZLET, Study QUIZLET, Study QUIZLET (link at bottom)
-Study all notes. If we discussed it in class then you need to know it. You should know things like.... the 4 ways to discuss "place", the different types of diffusion, the 3 types of regions, etc.
-Know your "Seterra" world map locations assigned on CANVAS!
-Use this website for help in reviewing (Mr. Sinn Video, Review of long/lat., quizlet, etc.)
-Get a study-buddy. Key word here is STUDY not BUDDY! Find someone in any one of the periods to that will keep you "on task" :)
-Remember that tests are a large part of your grade. There will not be any surprises. Everything covered on a test will be covered in class notes, readings or other assignment.
